A relaxed and joyful wedding day at Stonebridge Golf Course
I had a brilliant time photographing Georgia and Neal’s wedding at the ever-popular Stonebridge Golf Course in Meriden. It’s a venue I always enjoy returning to, not only because of its stunning surroundings but also because of how smoothly the team help wedding days flow from start to finish.

From the moment I arrived, there was a real sense of excitement and anticipation. The weather was absolutely on our side too — warm sunshine and clear skies created the perfect setting for an outdoor celebration. Like many weddings, there was a small moment of drama when the rings were briefly forgotten (it happens more often than you’d think), but it was quickly resolved and certainly didn’t take away from the fun, relaxed atmosphere that Georgia and Neal created throughout their day.

Making the most of beautiful grounds and natural light.

One of the things I particularly love about photographing weddings at Stonebridge Golf Course is the variety of backdrops available within just a short walk. From open fairways and tree-lined pathways to quieter tucked-away corners, it gives couples plenty of choice for natural and elegant portraits.

Georgia and Neal were fantastic to work with and kindly gave me a generous amount of time for their couple photos. With the sun sitting high in the sky for much of the afternoon, we had to be a little creative with positioning and timing. Harsh overhead light can be challenging, but by carefully choosing shaded areas and softer pockets of light around the grounds, we were able to create a collection of relaxed, romantic images that really captured their connection.
These quieter portrait moments are always a highlight of the day for me. They give couples a chance to step away from the busyness, take a breath, and simply enjoy being together — something that really shows in the final photographs.

Stonebridge is not just visually impressive — it’s also incredibly well organised. From guest arrivals through to the evening celebrations, everything ran smoothly, allowing Georgia and Neal to focus on what truly mattered: spending time with their family and friends and soaking up every moment of their wedding day 🎉
The friendly and professional team played a big part in making the day feel effortless, which always makes a huge difference both for couples and suppliers alike.
