St Edburgha’s Church in Yardley – Melissa and Richard

This is the first time we had photographed a wedding at St Edburgha’s Church in Yardley, Birmingham. It is a beautiful church with fantastic grounds and features. We met up with Richard and his best man before the wedding to get a few shots before he became a married man. Melissa and her bridesmaids arrived in separate VW camper vans which looked great. We managed to get some quick photos outside of Melissa, her dad and the bridesmaids before the ceremony commenced.

The ceremony was lovely and the vicar gave us unlimited access to all areas of the church so we could get lots of different photos and be more creative than we could normally be. This is a blessing in itself for us as we come across many vicars that are very strict with photographers on where to photograph within the church during the ceremony.

After the wedding we went outside for the group photos and the weather hadn’t let us down with bright sunshine throughout the day. After the groups we were just left to photograph Melissa and Richard together outside the church and the camper vans, before we left them to enjoy the rest of their day.
