As a Birmingham based Wedding Photographer I photograph weddings all over the country (as you can see by my blog) however, I mainly work around the Birmingham and Solihull area. The wedding of Shannon and Wayne was at the fantastic Tanworth-in-Arden church which I have photographed many times before. It’s really nice photographing in a beautiful church where the vicar knows you well enough to not have to tell you the rules of his church every time you work there and you are already familiar with the layout and set up. The church itself has fantastic stained glass windows at the back which I always like to use after the ceremony to take some unique photos of the bride and groom in my signature style.

Shannon and Wayne live on a farm where the reception was held, they used a huge marquee with hanging chandeliers, lovely decor and a dance floor for later where the live band Synergy would be playing. I’ve met the band Synergy before and they’re really good, so much so that they are my recommended band when anyone ever asks. If you did want to book them though get in early as they book up quickly. The couple had also decorated the outside area with fairy lights, decorative plants and had a white bouncy castle for the kids to play on and obviously it would be rude for the bride and groom not to have a go as you’ll see in the pictures below.
I photographed Shannon and Wayne in the morning all the way through till the evening when the alcohol was really in full flow and everyone was letting their hair down.
