Crockwell Farm Wedding Photography – Samantha & Bobby

I love photographing at new and exciting venues, and Crockwell Farm in Daventry was definitely one of them. Driving along the long, winding road to the farm, I was struck by the views and the setting—endless fields, beautiful countryside, and scenery that stretches as far as the eye can see. It truly is a quintessential country wedding venue.

We were lucky with the weather, too—sunny all day with clear skies—perfect for capturing both formal portraits and creative, relaxed couple shots. Samantha and Bobby had booked me for the full day, giving me plenty of time to scout locations across the venue and make the most of the farm’s unique spaces for their wedding photography.

The wedding took place over the Easter weekend, which gave Samantha and Bobby some fantastic opportunities for creative touches. One standout idea was the personalised Cadbury creme eggs at the wedding breakfast. Each egg was placed on a teaspoon engraved with the guest’s name, creating a memorable and thoughtful gift for everyone. Bobby had spent weeks preparing these himself, showing the care and attention they put into making their day special.

The whole day was perfectly organised and ran incredibly smoothly. From start to finish, it was a joy to photograph—the relaxed couple, the attention to detail, and the stunning surroundings all came together beautifully.

Capturing the Perfect Day

One of the highlights of the day was exploring the venue with Samantha and Bobby for their couple portraits. Crockwell Farm offers so many opportunities for photography—from wide open fields for sweeping shots to intimate corners for creative, romantic images.

The combination of excellent light, a happy couple, and a venue with endless possibilities allowed me to capture a mix of formal, candid, and creative images that tell the full story of the wedding.

Final Thoughts

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Samantha and Bobby’s special day. I wish them all the very best for their future together and look forward to designing their wedding album—a keepsake they can treasure forever.

I’ve included a small selection of my favourite images from the day below to show just how beautiful their wedding was.
